Abbot Howard "Abbie" Hoffman

场景：阿甘越战回来，在聚会上讲话,穿米国国旗上衣，老说F字的就是他。

Hoffman(1936.11.30-1989.4.12) 1968年民主党全国代表大会期间，煽动米国人，引起骚乱；和其他7人一起遭到逮捕，被称为“芝加哥八君子”，后来其中一人被另行起诉，这样剩下的7人被改称为“芝加哥七君子”。

Hoffman经常以恶作剧的方式抗议越南战争，是嬉皮运动中的风头人物。1971年4-5月，他参加了32万美国群众在华盛顿举行反对越战的大示威。

Neil Armstrong

场景：阿甘在华盛顿与珍尼分手后，继续打乒乓。旁边的电视里，Armstrong踩下了人类在月球上的第一个脚印。

1969年7月20日晚10点56分(美国东部时间)，Armstrong乘小鹰号着陆器登上月球表面。

Bob Hope(1903.5.29-2003.7.27)美国笑星，活了100年,生前得到1500余个奖项,经常参加军队慰问演出。

阿甘看Hope的表演时，一个失去右手的瘦高个眼镜兵说：“阿甘，你怎么看这种愚蠢的粪便(stupid shit)？关了，关了。”

很多次我都笑出泪来，因为我太像这个兵了。

Black Panther Party

场景：阿甘和珍尼去见她的朋友们，一个黑豹党员不停的对他说话。

成立于1966.10.15日非洲裔米国人组织，旨在保护黑人权利，60年代中期至70年代活跃于米国。

该组织存在期间，它的宗旨经历了很大的变动。

其中一个发起人后来犯了人命官司，该组织随即解散。
