Have you ever actually looked at the IE 8 Compatibility View List or the "release note" you linked?

Have you tried to visit those MSFT sites you listed with IE 8 and see if they really have compatibility issues?

Usually I don't quite agree with you (I used Mac for 5+ years and don't like it) but I do trust your info. In this case, I actually kind of agree with you (IE 8 is disappointing, especially the one on my Win7 box), but I am really disappointed at your use (and spread) of inaccurate/invalid info.

I am still looking forward to more, better posts from you, but please take good care of your credibility by using high quality info in your posts.
