上面说到的那个没有什么印第安人特征的小伙子是一开场的那四个印第安人部落（Four Host First Nations: Squamish Nation, Musqueam Indian Band, Lil'wat First Nation & Tsleil-Waututh First Nation)代表外链出处，这四组人里应该是没有Metis，按照维基First Nation的说法，这个First Nations是不包括Inuit和Métis在内的加拿大其他原住民。

在四根人形立柱竖起来、四家Four Host First Nations代表致欢迎辞后，Métis应该是参加了后面的原住民跳舞、打鼓的欢迎队伍的：

Four large ice sculpture totem poles rose up from the floor and representatives of the Musqueam, Squamish, Tsleil-waututh and Lil'wat aboriginal host nations welcomed the crowd.
