家园 应该说物质优越感偏见远甚种族主义 如果你在国外，并且有孩子的话，你可以注意一下你孩子受到的教育。这种教育，就是“民主和自由”意识形态的灌输。说它是灌输，是因为它强调选举民主、个人自由、政治人权等于一切，一但没有，就是人间地狱，完全是非黑即白的。而和外国有关的部分，比如世界历史、地理，一律解释为缺乏西方式政治制度，不谈历史、文化、物资条件、发展水平的限制。对于发达国家，在学生眼中这是不证自明的，因为他们所在的国家无论经济、文化都是最发达、最优越的。
在不怎么发达的“自由”国家，就不一定了。虽然所有的学生受同样的意识形态灌输，社会中下层的学生很多在成长的过程中就会逐渐偏左，拉丁美洲就是一个很好的例子。我甚至发现，有些西方发达国家的中下层人民，在看过一些有关北京、上海现代化的宣传片后，除了一般的赞叹外，很多人也马上对他们国家的政治制度产生逆反性的强烈反感。这可能是西方文化精英为什么会那么敌视中国的发展的一个重要原因。

先是介绍了一下地震的情况和数字，提到死亡人数也没有什么感情色彩。然后介绍了一些失去亲人的同胞的惨状，没有提到任何人民互助，解放军救助的事，反而借一个失去女儿的父亲的嘴说:
"When the building came down there was no one to help us," said Li Dachang, whose 16-year-old daughter was later pulled dead from the rubble. "The quality of the construction was so poor. There are so many corrupt officials. They take the money and build shoddy buildings."

花街日报报道中国的文章风格不统一，也有带着善意和理解报道中国的作者，不过本文显然不在此列。
