LONDON, July 21 (Reuters) - British aero-engine maker Rolls-Royce Plc (RR.L: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Friday it had won business worth $200 million from Eastern European carrier Wizz Air for engines to power new Airbus (EAD.PA: Quote, Profile, Research) aircraft.
Rolls said in a statement International Aero Engines (IAE), in which Rolls is a senior partner, will supply the V2500 engines to power Wizz Air's A320 aircraft. Rolls' share of the total deal was $200 million, it said.
Wizz on Thursday ordered 20 of the planes plus options for a further 12.
IAE is a multinational consortium of Rolls, United Technologies Corp. (UTX.N: Quote, Profile, Research) unit Pratt & Whitney, Japanese Aero Engines Corp. and Germany's MTU Aero Engines (MTXGn.DE: Quote, Profile, Research).

新客机出来一般都会有几种发动机可以选。就像汽车也有V4、V6之类的可以选。
通常分BFE--BUYER FURNISHED EQUIPMENT, SFE(以前称SPE )--SELLER FURNISHED EQUIPMENT.
作为现代喷气客气客机,一般其发动机都有两到三个选择,比如A320可选CFM56或者V2500;B777可选GE90,PW4068或者TRENT;也有的只有一个选择,比如A340只有CFM56.其决定权都在采购方.此外,其它许多主要设备也是如此,比如起落架,轮子(跟李老师没关系),刹车,座椅,厨房,主要电子设备,等等,甚至包括座椅面料和地毯.这一部分,是由买方单独下合同给各个供应商,由各供应商与飞机厂家协调运输,安装等等.
而作为SFE项目,是由飞机生产商列表,由采购方划勾确认,由飞机生产方统一安排,包含在购机款里,不需要单独采购.
当然,BFE和SFE之间没有确定的界限,一般由双方谈判确定,但一般采购方为了机队的一致,通用,甚至考虑区域内与其它机队的借换件方便,BFE项目是必须认真考虑的.
具体到这个例子,一般认为IAE的V2500很滥,远不如CFM56经济.
