The guy was the unpaid chaplain on the Alaskan pipeline, and got to know some of the insiders in world affairs, the "ruling elite" he calls them.

They have told him before when oil will go up or down.

The ruling elite have decided to break the finances of the Middle East, and to give money power to Russia and Indonesia.

Over the next 12 Months (he was told this around 6/2008) oil will be manipulated to $50/barrel or so (they usually come within 10% of thier goal) to crush Middle East finances. They will ANNOUNCE (i.e., they already know about the new oilfields and just haven't made it public)huge oil discoveries 1) "North of Russia" (Artic?) and 2.) In Indonesia and there might have been a third place, but I don't recall.

They also warned him against encouraging domestic production, especially Gull Island, AK where there is a huge, but not publicly announced find that would take care of our oil needs for 200 years.

They told him America would not be allowed to use her own resources, and will be kept dependent on foreign imports. This is interesting because it's all the buzz in Congress/News/Presidential election, so if there's lots of talk but no action we know this will be true.
