家园 【求助】关于Dell笔记本运行慢和发热的问题 在下的Dell是去年买的，Inspiron 1100, Celeron 2.0G HZ, 内存 256MB, 贪便宜，不好意思
。用了一年相安无事，直到一两个月前，问题逐渐出现。
先是风扇越来越经常启动到最大转速，发出恼人的噪声。继而电脑开始变慢。查看Task Manager, 发现CPU动不动就达到100％负荷。第一次严重问题出现在看硬盘上的电影时，CPU满负荷运转了十几分钟后，电脑自动关机了，在下估计是过热保护自动关机。
我装了单位发的McAfee的实时反病毒软件，查病毒也从来没有查出过。也装了Spybot Search & Destroy，基本上经常查Spyware。上星期给Dell的客服热线打电话，和那边的一位菲律宾老兄聊了2个半小时，电脑被关机启动N次，直到那位老兄问我“电脑硬盘上有没有重要资料”？吓得俺赶紧收线。客服结果是电脑还能用，打印机没了，也装不上。不过这不是大问题，我一般用台式机打印。
现在这个笔记本还能用，就是速度慢。请教各路高人，不知道是系统问题还是硬件问题。另外，为了生产自救，我曾经用msconfig命令打开启动管理的窗口，停掉了我觉得不是很有用的Service。我最近还装了魔法兔子。不过我对电脑一知半解，不知道是不是搞乱了点什么。

家园 Check the task manager rightafter start for RAM useage, if.. if RAM usage is also high, especially when your laptop is not running any applications. that means a Trojan, or backdoor virus.
then log in kingsoft.com ( JinShan ), there is a free online checkup,if you pay 10RMB, you could get 1 month service, they also have a special checkup for Trojan.
Symtec firewall also provide some protection, but not as good as Kingsoft.
家园 菜鸟建议你这样重装 一、先把自个需要的文件刻到CD上。
二、彻底format.
二、重装windows，并升级.
三、将系统用ghost作个镜象，刻成盘。下回就用这张盘重装就行。
关于用ghost作xp启动盘的方法：
家园 i bought Inspiron8500 when it first came out last year, it seemed ok to me, certainly i enjoyed my 17 inch powerbook, it is just cool, and it just WORKS :-). but overall dell 8500 was fine.
Highway 掌门的建议不错，我在给你补充几个可能go wrong 的地方：
1。check your process in "Task Manager" when CPU reaches 100%, by default there are a lot of unnecessary processes there, such as indexing service,Distributed link tracking client etc, and whole bunch of craps. i am sure you did some services removal, but i found the indexing service was the evil once, which took 100% cpu. so you might want to give second peek.
after you take those services out, it would run better for sure. certainly, i agree with Highway 掌门，you should add another 256m memory, it is so cheap now. i have 1g on my laptop. it is just making things smoother

家园 最简单的办法就是Restore System. 先把自己的重要文件备份一下，然后用DELL的随机的光盘将机器重装一遍（System Restore）。这可能是最省事的做法了。
如果你装的东西很多，那么256MB可能是个瓶颈，可以升级一下。
