家园 does any one know how to mount a Mac hard drive onto a linux box? this is wierd, but, i've taken down a hard drive from a Mac, then slipped it in a linux box. the linux sees the Mac hard drive, however, when i did a sfdisk
sfdisk -l /dev/hdb
Disk /dev/hdb: 19906 cylinders, 16 heads, 63 sectors/track
read: Input/output error
sfdisk: read error on /dev/hdb - cannot read sector 0
/dev/hdb: unrecognized partition table type
No partitions found
is the Mac hard drive dead?

家园 never mind, there's quite a bunch of errores in 'dmesg' i'll decalre the hard drive dead.
