2011年美国

大豆种植面积预估为7700万英亩，产量约31.48亿蒲式耳，约0.853亿吨

　　玉米播种面积将为9200万英亩，产量约137.3亿蒲式耳，约3.487亿吨

　　小麦种植面积为5743万英亩，产量约20.77亿蒲式耳，约0.5464亿吨

单以小麦为例， 3.48亿亩种植面积， 产量0.5464亿吨，亩单产156公斤。

以上是美国的三大主要种植品种，一共种植了13亿亩多，接近一半。可见美国的休耕政策是真的，但是单产还是然并卵。
