Stolen property.

If you steal property, you must report its fair market value in your income

in the year you steal it unless in the same year, you returned it to the rightful owner.

一旦窃贼被擒，则起码两罪并罚：1)盗窃；2)偷税

下面这些都要保税！

贿赂 Bribes. If you receive a bribe, include it in your income.

非法收入 Illegal income. Illegal income, such as money from dealing illegal drugs, must be included in your income on Form 1040, line 21, or on Schedule C or Schedule C-EZ (Form 1040) if from your self-employment activity

回扣 Kickbacks. You must include kickbacks, side commissions, push money, or similar payments you receive in your income on Form 1040, line 21, or on Schedule C or Schedule C-EZ (Form 1040), if from your self-employment activity.

一多半的州，任何人持有毒品有意销售的，“依法”必须到政府某办公室交税，以换取印花的。

原因是没法有足够的可以定罪的证据把他和走私之类的犯罪活动联系起来，不过政府最后找到了他有部分收入（非法的）没报税的证据。就凭这把他关进监狱，最后死在那里。虽然这是个无奈的结果，但是却有实际效果，把罪犯关进了监狱。这些看似可笑的法律条文就是定罪依据。

有部电影叫“The Untouchables”，讲的就是这回事，Kevin Costner和Sean Connery, Andy Garcia几个演的，挺好看的。

这样做的结果是本来只触犯州法的行为触犯了联邦法，就可以有联邦参与调查。

无法解释的收入本来就是违法的，这诸多条款还是多余。

居然不提Robert De Niro, 看啥了，
